Ingredients
2small potatoespeeled, cubed, and boiled
2cupsfrozen peas
1 - 2green chiliesseeded and minced
1medium white onionminced
2teaspoonsgarlic paste
2teaspoonsginger paste
1½cuptomato sauce
¼cupolive oil
2teaspoonscumin seeds
2bay leaves
½teaspoonturmeric
½teaspoongaram masala
½teaspoonground red pepper powder
1tablespooncoriander powder
Method
Heat oil over medium heat. Add cumin seed and bay leaves. When seeds begin to splutter, add onion, garlic, and ginger pastes and sautée until the oil separates.
Add half the tomato sauce, tumeric, garam masala, red pepper, and corriander powder. Stir fry until the oil separates.
Add the rest of the tomato sauce, peas, potatoes, and green chilies. Heat thoroughly and remove bay leaves.
