Yesterday was just one of “those” days. We all have them, we don’t ask for them, we certainly don’t want them, but from time to time we still seem to end up with them. I was to meet with my elderly father and one of his caregivers to discuss a possible change in facilities for his long-term care. I wasn’t particularly looking forward to this as I knew there would be some confrontation. After five minutes into the conversation I began to feel pale, at twenty minutes I started looking around for a possible emergency escape route. In comparison, I would consider the first voyage of the Titanic to have been more of a success. Oh well, it will all work out.

I arrived home with absolutely no plan for dinner, and a desire for an icy adult beverage.  We very seldom order in food, but when my partner Kelly asked what I was cooking, without uttering a word I fanned a stack of take out menus on the counter.  With a smile and a nod, he agreed. So thank you Dragon Cafe for your delicious food and your outstanding service. It was just what the doctor ordered, and the sun will come out tomorrow.
